It’s a known fact that over the years Android has sharpened its position in the market. Where there are new innovations introduced by Apple, competitors like Samsung, LG and other companies running Android on their devices don’t take long to even out the playing field. Reasons to remove the app

Before knowing the tricks for deleting a preinstalled app, you should first know the reasons for its removal. The main reason could be storage issues. When you are not using a specific app you are wasting your precious storage space. With preinstalled apps come battery issues. Some apps and games use your data allowance without you knowing. And lastly, preinstalled apps could be malware which might upload your personal information online. However, uninstalling them and removing them from your system can help you solve the problem.

For non-rooted devices

For some devices, deleting the preinstalled apps can be an impossible task. All you can do it disable them. To disable preinstalled apps on Android devices you can head to Settings>Apps and Notifications>See all X apps and select that application you don’t want and tap the Disable button. This option will disable the app and block its view on your phone, but it still takes up the required space of your phone.

Another way to hide an app from home screen is that you press and hold on the app  icone for a few seconds  and drag it towards the ‘X’ icon that appears. This, however, does not uninstall the app. it is still installed on your phone.
